Market Ready Solutions
has extensive experience in reviewing roofs prior to filing an insurance claim. We know what the insurance companies guidelines are for replacement of a roof. All of our reviews are referred to us from insurance companies that trust our judgment or satisfied customers. You will never hear of us knocking on someones door to "inspect their roof."
Here is a list of what can and has happened recently, Thanks to storm chasers.
- You make a claim. Insurance adjuster inspects your roof and sees no damage. Even though the insurance company did not pay, you still have a claim in your file and on your insurance report (how insurance companies score you).
- You make a claim. Insurance adjuster inspects roof and sees little damage. He writes up a scope of work that is less than your deductible or only pays 100 or 2oo over the deductible. This don't help you or your Insurance Score.
List of problems you may find with a Storm Chaser
- They ask for some money up front that was paid by insurance company and then they don't show back up.
- They have materials delivered, then ask you to make a payment for materials. They call and have materials picked up and they skip town with your money.
- They start tearing off your roof then tell you they need most of the money or they are not going to finish, you pay them because you don't want rain to damage the interior of the home. Then they don't come beck.
- They do the job, your happy, you pay them but they don't pay the material supplier or subcontractor. Then the material supplier or subcontractor places liens on your home.
- Someone falls breaks their leg or worse and sues you because the company had no insurance. We have saw and heard numerous times of fake insurance certificates being provided by Roofing Contractors, Sub Contractors and individuals. Usually they get away with it until someone gets hurt.
- They do sub standard work and you cant get your leaky roof fixed because they have changed there number and are off to another state.
- Charge you for extras that the insurance company does not pay for and threaten you with liens if you do not pay it.
Never trust someone to do work on your home that was not solicited.
Don't believe them when they say that your neighbor sent them over. Its just another trick of theirs.
